Nellie Iris Kramer
Birth: 13 March 1903 in Spivey, Kingman Co., Kansas
Iris had a twin brother who was stillborn or died shortly after birth.  He was unnamed and was buried on the farm.
Death: 29 Jan 1993 in Derby, Sedgwick Co., Kansas
Marriage:        Maxwell L. Barger

Iris & Max had 4 sons: Jim, Gene, Dick & Bill

Ruth's husband died of tuberculosis in February 1925.
I believe this photo was taken that summer.  Ruth's two-year-old son, Bill, was probably home with Grandma and Grandpa Kramer.

Mabel, Ruth, and Iris were close and gave one another support their entire lives.  After they retired, they and a few of their friends played bridge together once a week.  Iris had a car and drove.  Ruth and Mabel would pay for the gas.
